My ds read a beautiful reader last night. Perhaps the most beautiful I've seen! Readers are just readers...you have to have them. We use the Pathway readers and love them, but most other readers are just something else to read.
I digress...last night I brought home a Fisher-Price All-Star Reader level 1 Bk originally purchased at Wal-Mart called A House for Mouse by Babs Shook. It is a sweet story of a little Mouse who has no home and goes around looking for one. Lots of other "creatures" offer to let him share theirs, but of course they aren't the right size. I won't spoil the ending.
The beautiful thing about this book is the illustrations by Kathy Couri (click on her name to see other books illustrated by her). They are just precious and ds had a wonderful time finding all the creatures hiding in their homes all over the page! I was even enthralled! Enjoy!
